Trevor Sorbie & Anthony Mascolo The Highlight of the day was a two man show by living legends Trevor Sorbie & Anthony Mascolo. They presented their work together at the Hair Congress to create looks that were out of this world - seeing them live made you feel very privileged indeed.

Toni & Guy - The team created ready - to - wear styles, both long and short, but they all had one thing in common; they oozed texture and soft layers to create movement with products used to create the all important finish.

Cobella - The artistic team presented the City Collection - wearable looks incorporating fringes and texture.  As the models walked down the catwalk their smooth soft styles bounced with movement glistened with shine

 

Vidal Sassoon - The show was a treat to the senses as it unveiled its latest collection. Annie Humphreys and Tim Hartley explained the inspiration behind the latest looks. The audience was treated to an eclectic mix of styles that were designed to inspire and delight.

TAYA - The artistic team from Japan presented its Naturalism Collection. The team worked on red & black hair. Extensions were added to jaw length bobs for extra definition and were razored for a feathery finish.

Guy Kremer - GK brought a French flavour to the Congress with his long hair show. Two suited and booted male models jived on to the stage to open the show and were cut live on stage. Looks were rockability-meets-punk, moving away from the rock look of last year and toward a more punk inspired look with texture.

Mahogany - Richard Thompson, Anthony Licata & Colin Greaney presented the S2L collection. This show is about bad girl attitude; city girls who go to the country at the weekend to let their hair down; Richard explained. Short layers were cut in to underneath layers, with steeper layers towards the top. This allows the longer layers tohang over the shorter ones and offers versatility to clients styling their hair at home

D&J Ambrose - D&J presented the Archetype collection focusing on the form and structure of the art of texture in an exaggerated architectural style. Jewel coloring techniques enhanced the avant garde styles.

 

O'Leary Artistic Team The Japanese team presented a collection of looks that were commercial and just begging to be touched. The cuts were short and given a feathery texture sitting close to the nape and hanging low on the face.

The FAME Team - The 2004 team of the British Fellowship created catwalk and commercial looks using Racoon extensions to bring a new dimension to everyday wear and fantasy work.

HOB Salons - The HOB Team led by 2003 Eastern Hairdresser of the year Claire Atkinson took hair back to basics with influences from the 20s with Bobs, finger waves, marcel waves and rolls.
 

Metropolis - Military met fetish in this off-the-wall presentation. Chignons were kept elegant, but given a sexy twist with hairpieces, hidden eyes and bright red lips.
